Terms of Service

1. Platform Overview & Scope of Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between CallOfJob Trading Network Ltd. ("CallOfJob", "we", "us", or "our", BN: 744077488BC0001) and all business clients ("Contractors", "Clients") and registered skilled workers ("Trades", "Workers") accessing the CallOfJob technology platform and workforce dispatch services.
CallOfJob operates as an institutional B2B workforce management and labor coordination technology platform connecting licensed businesses with pre-screened independent skilled trades and industrial professionals across British Columbia.
2. Worker Classification & Vetting Standards
All tradespeople registered on the platform are screened through our multi-step verification process, which includes:
- Government-issued photographic identification verification (KYC).
- Verification of legal entitlement to work in Canada.
- Trade certificate and ticket verification (where applicable, ITA / SkilledTradesBC, Red Seal).
- Occupational health and safety orientation confirmation (including WHMIS).
3. Occupational Health, Safety & WorkSafeBC
Workplace safety is paramount. All participating businesses agree to maintain job sites that strictly comply with the Workers Compensation Act of British Columbia and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. Clients are responsible for site-specific safety orientations, mandatory jobsite PPE enforcement, and hazardous condition mitigation.
4. Billing, Invoicing & Payment Terms
CallOfJob provides consolidated digital invoicing. Business clients agree to approve digital shift logs and timesheets upon shift completion. Invoiced amounts are processed via approved commercial credit card, Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD), or electronic funds transfer (EFT).
Workers receive guaranteed weekly direct deposits for approved hours worked in accordance with platform compensation schedules.
5. Cancellation, Shift Adjustments & Dispute Protocols
Cancellations of confirmed shift dispatches must be submitted via the platform at least twelve (12) hours prior to shift commencement. Late cancellations and billing discrepancies are governed by our Merchant & Billing Policy.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under British Columbia and Canadian federal law, CallOfJob Trading Network Ltd. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of jobsite conditions, project delays, or third-party acts.
7. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
